Fanchize Inc. ("Fanchize," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Fanchize mobile application, website at www.fanchize.com, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Services.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties as described below.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, username, password, profile photo, and preferences.
  • Fan identity and loyalty data: favorite teams, sports, Fan Loyalty Contracts (Fantracts™), FanScore™ activity, check-ins, contests, contributions, digital jersey and collectible activity, and related loyalty program data.
  • Community and communications: forum posts, comments, messages, support requests, and feedback.
  • Waitlist and marketing forms: information submitted through early-access, contact, or lead forms on our website or in the app.
  • Transactions: purchase history, order details, payment-related identifiers, and billing contact information. Payment card numbers are processed by Apple, our payment processors, or other authorized providers—not stored directly by us where avoidable.
  • Athlete or vendor information: if you use athlete, NIL, or vendor-facing features, we may collect professional, business, or eligibility information you choose to submit.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data: device type, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and crash or performance logs.
  • Usage data: pages or screens viewed, features used, clicks, session duration, referral URLs, and in-app events.
  • Location data: with your permission, approximate or precise location for check-ins, events, or location-based features. You can disable location permissions in your device settings.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: on our website, we use cookies, pixels, and analytics tools. See Section 8.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information from Apple (for Sign in with Apple or App Store transactions), social login providers, analytics providers, fraud-prevention services, sports or NIL data partners, and marketing partners where you interact with Fanchize through those channels.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • Create and manage accounts, FanScore™, Fan Contracts, digital collectibles, fantasy features, and loyalty rewards;
  • Process transactions, fulfill orders, and provide customer support;
  • Personalize content, recommendations, and fan experiences;
  • Send service-related notices, security alerts, and administrative messages;
  • Send marketing communications where permitted by law and your preferences;
  • Monitor, detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
  • Conduct analytics, research, and product development;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. How we share information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, database, email, analytics, customer support, payment processing, security, and communications vendors (including Supabase, Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, and Cloudflare Turnstile where enabled).
  • Apple when you download or purchase through the App Store or use Apple authentication or payment services.
  • Partners, athletes, teams, and vendors where necessary to deliver loyalty programs, NIL tools, events, rewards, or co-branded experiences you choose to participate in.
  • Other users when you post public forum content, display profile information, or participate in community features.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
  • Legal and safety purposes when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may use analytics and advertising tools that involve sharing limited device or usage data with partners as permitted by applicable law.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
  • Opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links;
  • Disable location, notifications, or tracking in device or browser settings;
  • Request a portable copy of certain information.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information as defined by California law.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of data and how it is used.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and marketing. We may use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager when configured. You can control cookies through browser settings. Some features may not work if cookies are disabled.

9. Push notifications and device permissions

If you enable push notifications, we may send alerts about account activity, loyalty rewards, events, or product updates. You can manage notifications in your device settings or within the app where available.

10. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact privacy@fanchize.com.

Users between 13 and 17 should use the Services only with parent or guardian permission where required by law.

11. International users

Fanchize is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

12. Third-party links and services

The Services may link to third-party websites, apps, social platforms, or payment systems. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. Apple's privacy practices for App Store purchases and Apple ID are governed by Apple's policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app, by email, or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
